ALBANY – On a hazy, hot and humid morning Tuesday, Aug. 28, Hoosick Falls and Guilderland met for a fiUeld hockey scrimmage at the University at Albany. There was some doubt the scrimmage would occur, as real feel temperatures at UAlbany bordered on 95 degrees – the uppermost field temperature allowed by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. A temperature of 96 degrees cut short the preceding junior varsity game between the two schools. However, the temperature lowered enough to allow the two varsity teams to scrimmage against each other, as planned.
