The Argyle girls volleyball team began its Adirondack League season with a three-set sweep of Hartford Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Hartford.
The first set was close, with the Scots prevailing 25-21. Argyle took the second set 25-17 before cruising through the third set 25-14.
Jada Phillips recorded 12 aces on 27 service attempts, Gretta Schneider notched seven kills and Jesse Wilson added 11 assists for the Scots.
Elsewhere in the Adirondack League, Lake George swept Corinth 25-9, 25-8 and 25-4. Jazzy Burke led the Warriors with 14 service points, eight assists and four digs. Alysia Kane contributed 11 service points and five kills, Adrianna Eigo chipped in with 10 service points, and Nikki Hladik added six kills. Alli Zilm recorded six assists.
