LOUDONVILLE – Tamarac needed a late rally to close out Loudonville Christian School 3-1 in a non-league girls volleyball match Wednesday, Sept. 5.
Trailing 16-10 in the fourth set, the Bengals went on a 9-1 run to take a 19-17 lead. The Eagles rallied back and had three chances to win the set, which would have forced a fifth set. However, Tamarac fought off the three set points and won 28-26 to clinch the match.
Tamarac won the first two sets 25-9 and 25-14, and the Bengals led the third set 24-20 before Loudonville Christian rallied for a 27-25 victory to keep the match going.
