TROY – LaSalle Institute won the battle of Troy-based private schools on the links with a 176-192 victory over Catholic Central in a Colonial Council golf match Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Country Club of Troy.

Anthony Gregware took medalist honors for LaSalle by carding a nine-hole round of 38. Jack Mattfield led Catholic Central with a score of 44.
