The Taconic Hills girls volleyball team edged Coxsackie-Athens 3-2 in a Patroon Conference match Tuesday, Sept. 11.
Coxsackie-Athens took the first set 25-11, but Taconic Hills responded by pulling out a 27-25 win in the second set. Coxsackie-Athens rebounded by winning the third set 25-23 before the Titans closed out the match with a 25-19 victory in the fourth set and a 25-23 win in the fifth set.
Emma Leipman had six kills and seven aces, and Katie Runyon contributed eight kills and four aces for Taconic Hills (4-2). Morgan Monty added 25 assists.
