Broadalbin-Perth pulled out a 2-0 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council boys soccer game Tuesday, Sept. 25.
Brady Goodemote scored in the 14th minute, and Ian Dingman tallied less than 11 minutes into the second half for the Patriots (5-3-0). Hunter Marks assisted on both Broadalbin-Perth goals.
John Marsden had four saves in goal for Broadalbin-Perth, while Ben Difiore stopped seven shots for Glens Falls (2-7-0).
Elsewhere in the Foothills Council, Amsterdam (3-6-0) surprised Hudson Falls 1-0. Rico Reyes scored on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute for the game’s lone goal.
Amsterdam goalkeeper Ian Healy had six saves to earn the shutout, while goalie Justin Fenton stopped five shots for Hudson Falls (6-5-0).
