HOOSICK FALLS – Waterford-Halfmoon scored three goals in the first half on its way to a 5-2 victory over Hoosick Falls Tuesday, Sept. 25, in a Wasaren League boys soccer game.
Tyler Galarneau scored on a breakaway 22 seconds into the game to give the Fordians a quick 1-0 lead. Zach Soden and Hunter Guertin tallied later in the first half to build a three-goal cushion, and Guertin added two more in the second half to finish with a hat trick.
Connor Jones and Evan Webster each tallied for Hoosick Falls.
