HUDSON FALLS – Aidan Jordi-Donnelly struck twice within the first 18 minutes of the game to help Queensbury defeat Hudson Falls 7-0 Wednesday, Oct. 3, in a Foothills Council boys soccer game.
Jordi-Donnelly scored unassisted at the 12:49 mark to get the Spartans (9-0-0 league, 11-1-0 overall) on the scoreboard. Less than five minutes later, Jordi-Donnelly received a pass from Jared Osika and tallied to make the score 2-0.
Peter Crawford and Teddy Borgos scored goals in the final three minutes of the first half to give Queensbury – the state’s No. 1-ranked Class B boys soccer team – a 4-0 advantage at halftime. Lorenzo Cicogna, Riley Grant and Asa Edwards added goals in the second half.
Goalkeepers Justin Fenton and Joey Potvin stopped a combined total of 11 shots for Hudson Falls (4-6-0, 6-7-0).
