Wasaren League boys soccer: Tamarac doubles up Greenwich

GREENWICH – Tamarac rallied from an early two-goal deficit to defeat Greenwich 4-2 Wednesday, Oct. 3, in a Wasaren League boys soccer game.

Charlie Gartner assisted on AJ Rymph’s goal and then notched one of his own to give the Witches their lead within the first 15 minutes. An own goal against Greenwich and Alex Bassey’s marker pulled Tamarac even before halftime.

Max Ali put the Bengals ahead in the second half with a penalty kick, and Dylan Briccetti added an insurance goal off a direct kick.

Tamarac goalkeeper Tyler Nemjo stopped six shots, while Greenwich netminder Sam Whiting was credited with three saves.
