An Abby Burns goal was all Troy needed to edge Albany 1-0 Thursday, Oct. 4, in a Suburban Council girls soccer game.

Burns scored off of Kristen Paravella’s assist in the first half to put the Flying Horses in front, and goalkeeper Maddie Rifenberick made it stand by stopping three shots for the shutout.

Albany goalies Sophia Goldsmith and Polina Cassella had a combined total of six saves.
