ARGYLE – The Lake George girls volleyball team defeated Johnstown 27-25 and 25-13 in the championship match to win the Argyle Tournament Saturday, Oct. 6.

All-Tournament team members Alysia Kane and Adrianna Eigo led the Warriors in the championship match. Kane had seven kills, and Eigo contributed nine service points and 10 defensive digs. Jazzy Burke added 11 assists.

Lake George advanced to the semifinals with a two-set sweep of Argyle, 25-7 and 25-13. Burke and Eigo each recorded nine service points, with Burke chipping in with 17 assists and Eigo adding 11 digs. Mikayla Duffy had six kills.

In the opening rounds, Lake George defeated Saratoga Springs 25-16, 25-17, 25-13 and Johnstown 25-19, 25-17, 25-17. Kane notched 11 kills in each match, while Burke amassed 35 service points and 53 assists between the two matches. Eigo had a combined total of 37 digs.
