The Queensbury boys soccer team clinched the Foothills Council regular season title with an 11-0 victory over Scotia-Glenville Tuesday, Oct. 9.
The North Division-leading Spartans (11-0-0 league, 13-1-0 overall) scored six goals in the first 14 minutes of the game, and they never looked back as they cruised past the South Division-leading Tartans (6-5-0, 8-6-0).
Teddy Borgos struck for seven goals, and Peter Crawford contributed three assists to lead Queensbury’s offense. Aidan Jordi-Donnelly, Drew Crawford, Sam Rowley and Asa Edwards also tallied for the Spartans, and Alex Roca chipped in with two assists.
Scotia-Glenville goalkeeper Dominic Jack had eight saves.
