ALBANY – Academy of the Holy Names turned on the afterburners in the second half to pull away for a 9-0 victory over Lansingburgh Friday, Oct. 12, in a Colonial Council girls soccer game.
Bella Tronco tallied twice in the second half on her way to recording a hat trick for Holy Names. Ava Panto tallied a goal in each half and contributed two assists, while Megan Marini registered a goal and three assists.
Marissa DeMartino, Riley Taylor and Grace Field also scored goals for Holy Names, which tallied six times in the second half. Goalkeepers Kathleen Harris and Megan Bell stopped a combined total of three shots.
Goalie Jillian Currier had 11 saves for Lansingburgh.
