Scotia-Glenville clinched fourth place in the Grasso Division and a Section 2 Class A football playoff berth with a 40-21 victory over Gloversville Friday, Oct. 12.
The Tartans (3-3 division, 3-4 overall) scored four touchdowns in the third quarter to pull away from the visiting Huskies (1-5, 1-6).
Incenzio Davis and Jason Carusone each scored a pair of touchdowns to lead Scotia-Glenville’s offense. Davis rushed for 114 yards, while Carusone contributed a 72-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 7-yard scoring run.
Julien Deumaga caught seven passes for 172 yards and a touchdown for Gloversville.
Scotia-Glenville will meet Capital Division champion Troy in the Class A quarterfinals next weekend.
