STILLWATER – Top-seeded Averill Park scored twice in the second half to defeat No. 7 Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 2-0 in the Section 2 Class A girls soccer final Friday, Oct. 26, at Stillwater High School.

Sisters Jess and Syd Haskin teamed up to score the Warriors’ goals. Jess Haskin scored off a pass from Syd Haskin, and then returned the favor for Syd.

Averill Park advances to the Class A regional round next week.
