Adirondack League reveals girls soccer Player of the Year and all-star teams

Lake George’s Sarah Kohls was named the Player of the Year when the Adirondack League girls soccer coaches unveiled their all-star teams for the 2018 season Monday, Nov. 12.

Kohls scored 24 goals and added eight assists to lead Lake George to the league title and a Section 2 Class C semifinal appearance.

The rest of the Adirondack League all-stars are as follows:

First team
Player of the Year: Sarah Kohls (Lake George) – senior forward
Jordan Barker (Bolton/Warrensburg) – sophomore goalkeeper
Amanda Godfrey (Fort Ann) – senior midfielder
Aubrey Ranous (Bolton/Warrensburg) – junior forward
Gabby Marchello (Lake George) – junior midfielder
Gabby Mowrey (Bolton/Warrensburg) – freshman midfielder
Katie Jackson (Fort Ann) – senior defender
Kylie Mann (Lake George) – junior defender
Leah Monroe (Bolton/Warrensburg) – junior midfielder
Maria Baker (Bolton/Warrensburg) – sophomore defender
Mikayah Rushinski (Salem) – junior forward
Nicole Kingsley (Lake George) – senior midfielder
Sarah Paige (Fort Ann) – junior forward
