Newcomers: Gabe Lucarelli (sophomore guard/forward), Kaylon Dickson (sophomore guard/forward), Jimyh Evans (sophomore center)

Outlook for the season: LaSalle graduated three Colonial Council All-Stars – Delollo (first team), Duncan (second team) and Ray Evans (third team) – but that doesn’t mean the Cadets are in a rebuilding year under new head coach Jon Desso.

Desso said the Cadets will rely heavily on their returning players including Cepiel and Bourgault,  both of whom he described as having strong scoring abilities. Desso also sees Lucarelli as someone who can hit three-point shots on a consistent basis.

Height will also come into play for LaSalle this season with four players standing 6-feet, 4-inches and taller (Vanroy, Lucarelli, Dickson and Jimyh Evans). Desso sees them as having the ability to attack and defend the rim.
