The Northville boys basketball team outscored Sharon Springs 14-6 in the fourth quarter to earn a 47-39 victory at the Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Classic Saturday, Dec. 1, at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
Both teams shot the ball well from behind the three-point arc. Northville (2-0) made 10 shots from long distance, while Sharon Springs collected eight threes. In all, there were more three-pointers made (18) than field goals and free throws combined (17).
T.J. Wadsworth drained four three-pointers on his way to a 21-point performance for Northville. Jordan Milewski also netted four three-pointers to finish with 12 points, and Nate Reidell added 10 points.
Seth Keller led Sharon Springs with 17 points, and Nate McFadden contributed nine points.
