Middleburgh edged Northville 54-52 in a Western Athletic Conference boys basketball game Tuesday, Dec. 18.
Andrew Johns drained four three-pointers on his way to a 24-point performance for Middleburgh. Brendan Henry contributed 12 points, and Will Bankston added eight points for the Knights.
Nate Reidell had five three-pointers as part of a 21-point night for Northville. T.J, Wadsworth and Jason Ellsworth each chipped in with 11points.
Elsewhere in the WAC, Fonda-Fultonville built a 30-16 halftime lead and pulled away for a 63-34 victory at Duanesburg. John Mancini paced the Braves with 16 points, and Jackson Atty added 11 points.
Zack Gamache led Duanesburg with 10 points.
Fort Plain continued the theme of WAC teams winning on the road with a 63-36 victory at Galway. Troy Butler netted 18 points, and Jaxson Yacowenia contributed 14 points for the Toppers, who opened up a 37-20 halftime lead.
Mike Sowle scored 11 points for Galway.
