Scenes from the CDHSHL: Burnt Hills/Ballston Spa skates past CBA
GLENVILLE – Jake Koszelak’s goal less than five minutes into the third period proved to be the game winner for Burnt Hills/Ballston Spa in a 3-1 victory over Christian Brothers Academy Saturday, Dec. 22, in a Capital District High School Hockey League game at the Schenectady County Recreational Facility.
Noah Sinclair tallied 2:47 into the first period to give BH/BS (3-2-0 league, 5-2-0 overall) a 1-0 lead, but Ryan Dollar netted the equalizer for CBA (3-2-0, 4-3-0) 40 seconds later. Both teams had several quality scoring chances to take the lead until Koszelak struck at the 4:33 mark of the third period.
Evan Loveland added an insurance goal at the 13:47 mark of the third period, and goalie Kyle Grace stopped 26 shots for BH/BS.
