T.J. Wadsworth led four Northville players in double digits as the Falcons defeated Wells (Section 7) 61-48 in the opening round of Northville’s Woodward Tournament Thursday, Dec. 27.

Wadsworth drained five three-pointers on his way to a 25-point night for Northville. Jason Ellsworth contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds, Wyatt Sira chipped in with 12 points, and Nate Reidell added 10 points.

Tre Zimmerman had 14 points, and Coby Stuart netted 13 points for Wells.

Northville will face Mayfield in Friday’s championship game after the Panthers defeated Galway 57-44 in the other first-round contest. Mayfield outscored Galway 15-5 in the second quarter to take control.

Garrett Delaney poured in 23 points, and Evan Lehr added 17 points for Mayfield. Mike Sowle scored 18 points for Galway.
