Scenes from Section 2 boys basketball: Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons wins wild game at Catholic Central

Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons outscored Catholic Central 28-15 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 76-65 victory in a non-league boys basketball game Friday, Dec. 28, in Troy.

The Golden Knights opened the game on a 26-4 run to take what appeared to be an insurmountable lead. However, the Crusaders responded with a 27-10 run in the second quarter to get within striking distance and then took the lead at the end of the third quarter before falling behind again.

Rodney Parker had 25 points, and Todd Williamson contributed 22 points for Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons. Lorenzo Marchisio chipped in with 13 points, and Noah Foster added 11 points in the victory.

Jackson Brown led Catholic Central with 25 points.
