Gloversville took the first two games on its way to a 3-1 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match Monday, Jan. 7, at Saratoga Bowl.
The Huskies won the first game 1,050-988 and took the second game 1,160-977 to secure the extra point for the match. Glens Falls won the third game 1,003-980.
Adam Loveless led Gloversville with a 585 series, including games of 201 and 205. Lane Daley had the high game of the afternoon for the Huskies with a 212 in the second game, and he finished with a 570 series. Mark Sgambato added a 207 game and a 546 series.
Payton Granger rolled a 202 high game and a 566 series for Glens Falls. Jocelyn Smith had a 548 series, and Austin Montrello added a 515 series for the Indians.
Gloversville is off until Thursday, Jan. 10, when it hosts South Glens Falls. Glens Falls plays against Broadalbin-Perth Wednesday, Jan. 9, at a neutral location.
