Northville outscored Salem 38-16 over the course of the second and third quarters on its way to a 58-44 victory over the Generals Monday, Jan. 7, in a non-league boys basketball game.
Nate Reidell led the Falcons with 19 points, including four three-pointers. Jason Ellsworth had a double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds, and T.J. Wadsworth chipped in with 13 points as Northville (5-7) collected its fifth win of the season.
Bryan Ferguson scored 12 points for Salem.
In another non-league game, Hartford dominated Heatly 56-26 in Green Island. The Tanagers jumped out to a 25-6 lead in the first quarter, and they never looked back in defeating the Hornets.
Gavin Darfler poured in 24 points, and Brandon Harrington added eight points for Hartford. Darius Moore netted 11 points for Heatly.
