Duncan Tallman scored more than half of Mohonasen’s points to lead the Mighty Warriors to a 59-54 victory at Cobleskill-Richmondville Tuesday, Jan. 8, in a Colonial Council boys basketball game.
Tallman made three shots from behind the three-point arc on his way to a 32-point evening for the Mighty Warriors, who have now won their last five games. Drew Coelho added nine points.
Donovan Pacatte poured in 21 points, while Pat Nichols and Steve Maniscalco each contributed 10 points for Cobleskill-Richmondville.
Elsewhere in the Colonial Council, Lansingburgh pulled out a 55-53 victory at Watervliet behind 18 points from Trevor Green and 16 points from Isaiah Knight. Messiah Mallory had 20 points for Watervliet.
Schalmont eased past Cohoes 77-42. Shane O’Dell dropped 32 points for the Sabres, who led 15-2 after the first quarter and 40-14 at halftime. Jamar Byron scored 12 points for Cohoes.
Ichabod Crane outscored Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 20-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 63-49 victory. Christian Pesano netted 25 points for the Riders, while Donovan Brown chipped in with 11 points. C.J. Blanchino led RCS with 25 points.
