Maple Hill remained undefeated in the Patroon Conference with a 53-37 victory over Hudson Wednesday, Jan. 9, in a girls basketball game.
Jenna Hoffman led a balanced attack with 10 points for Maple Hill (10-0 league, 11-1 overall), which took command by outscoring Hudson 28-14 over the course of the second and third quarters. Lydia Chittenden and Abby Utter each contributed eight points.
Deja Beauford poured in 19 points for Hudson (8-2).
Elsewhere in the Patroon Conference, Greenville closed out the game on an 11-5 run to defeat Catskill 37-32. Skyla VanVleet had 10 points, and Meghan Misuraca added eight points for the Spartans (7-3, 7-4).
Janay Brantley netted 17 points, and Ashley Shook sank four three-pointers on her way to a 13-point night for Catskill (2-8).
Albany Leadership Academy for Girls (3-6) built a 28-17 halftime lead on its way to a 47-39 victory over Taconic Hills (3-8). Jamira Galloway scored 20 points, and Dayari Daniels contributed 10 points for Albany Leadership.
Morgan Hoose had 14 points, and Marleah Perry chipped in with 10 points for Taconic Hills.
Chatham (6-4, 7-4) scored the first 17 points of the game and doubled up Coxsackie-Athens 50-25. Paige Eaton led the Panthers with 13 points, and Hannah Taylor added 12 points.
Ryan Carroll netted 17 points for Coxsackie-Athens (1-10, 2-10).
