Maple Hill used a 16-3 run in the third quarter to pull away for a 58-36 victory over Catskill Tuesday, Jan. 15, in a Patroon Conference girls basketball game.
Lydia Chittenden and Natasha Strock each scored 14 points for the Wildcats, who led 28-24 at halftime. Lauryn Smith contributed 10 points in the victory.
Ashley Shook had 14 points, and Janay Brantley added 12 points for Catskill.
Elsewhere in the Patroon Conference, Hudson broke the game open with a 24-6 second quarter and cruised to a 54-31 victory over Rensselaer. Deja Beauford netted 19 points for the Blue Hawks, while Aaliyah Jones chipped in with 13 points.
Navia Bynum led Rensselaer with 13 points, and Arianna Vogel added 10 points.
Greenville used an 18-4 run in the second quarter to defeat Albany Leadership Academy 53-40. Isabella Trostle paced the Spartans with 12 points, while Tess Fitzmaurice and Skyla Van Fleet each netted 10 points. Jamira Galloway led Albany Leadership Academy with 14 points.
Chatham used a balanced attack to defeat Cairo-Durham 42-29. Naveah Daigle scored 14 points, Brooke Doyle posted 12 points and Hannah Taylor added 10 points for the Panthers. Arianna Myers led Cairo-Durham with 13 points.
