After dropping the first game, Gloversville came back to defeat Hudson Falls 3-1 Monday, Jan. 28, in a Foothills Council bowling match at Broadway Lanes.
Hudson Falls took the first of three games by a pin-fall total of 1,149-1,065, but Gloversville took the next two games to earn the victory. The Huskies’ best game was the second game, as they knocked down 1,229 pins to the Tigers’ 1,046 pins. Gloversville finished the match by outscoring Hudson Falls 1,160-1,007 in the third game.
Aiden Carter led Gloversville with a 614 series and took high game honors for the Huskies with a 226 pin fall in the second game. Mark Sgambato posted a 606 series, including games of 214 and 211.
Taylor Markham was the top bowler for Hudson Falls with a 618 series, which included a high game of 225. Gavin Bennett rolled a 594 series, and Logan Bennett added a 590 series for the Tigers.
