Adirondack League girls basketball: Big second quarter propels Whitehall past Fort Ann

Whitehall used a 17-6 run in the second quarter to break open a close game on its way to a 46-24 victory over Fort Ann in an Adirondack League girls basketball game Thursday, Jan. 31.

The Railroaders shrugged off a slow start at the offensive end by limiting the Cardinals to four points in the first quarter. The second-quarter spurt allowed Whitehall to build a 26-10 halftime lead, and the Railroaders never looked back.
