Saratoga Springs needed two insurance runs in the top of the sixth inning to fend off Niskayuna 10-7 Thursday, May 2, in a Suburban Council baseball game.

The Blue Streaks broke open a close game with a five-run fourth inning. The Silver Warriors rallied to within a run in the bottom of the sixth inning before Saratoga Springs pulled away again in the sixth inning. The game was called on account of darkness after Niskayuna batted in the bottom of the sixth.
John Irons and Grayden Parker both drove in three runs on two hits for Saratoga Springs, which improved its record to 7-4. Aaron Whitley had a pair of hits and an RBI for Niskayuna, which dropped to 9-2 in the league.
