Bethlehem rallied from a 5-0 deficit to defeat Greenville 11-8 Monday, May 6, in a non-league softball game.
An Aria Losee sacrifice fly got the Lady Eagles on the scoreboard in the third inning. From there, Bethlehem (7-4) outscored Greenville 10-3 to pull out the victory.
Abby Campbell led Bethlehem’s surge with a double, a single and four RBI. Clare Boegel drove in two runs with a pair of hits, while Anna Cleary singled three times and earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle by not allowing an earned run in four innings of relief work. Ashley Gillies added a pair of hits and two runs scored, and Sophia Miranda recorded a three-inning save.
Bethlehem returns to Suburban Council action Wednesday, May 8, against Colonie.
