Foothills Council bowling: Gloversville shuts out Johnstown

The Gloversville bowling team posted its second shutout of the week by defeating Foothills Council neighbor Johnstown 4-0 Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Arterial Lanes.

Riley Griffiths rolled a high series of 627, and Lane Daley contributed a 620 series for the Huskies, who had a total pin fall of 3,369. Daley had the high game for Gloversville with a 253.

Noah Barner was the top bowler for Johnstown with a 615 series and a 216 high game.

Gloversville defeated Queensbury 4-0 Monday, Jan. 14, at King Pin. Adam Loveless led the Huskies with a 584 series, which included a high game of 221. Tony Feolele rolled a 548 series for Queensbury.


Foothills Council bowling: Gloversville sweeps all four points from South Glens Falls

Four Gloversville bowlers recorded series of 600 pins or more as the Huskies swept South Glens Falls 4-0 Thursday, Jan. 10, in a Foothills Council match at Arterial Lanes.

Adam Loveless led the way with a 712 series and a 266 high game for Gloversville, which held a 3,704-3,316 overall pin fall advantage over South Glens Falls. Foothills Council bowling: Gloversville rolls past Glens Falls

Gloversville took the first two games on its way to a 3-1 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match Monday, Jan. 7, at Saratoga Bowl.

Foothills Council bowling: Gloversville earns road win against Schuylerville

A strong first game and a 1-pin victory in the third game helped Gloversville defeat Schuylerville 3-1 Thursday, Jan. 3, in a Foothills Council bowling match at Saratoga Bowl.

Gloversville won the first game 1,234-1,033 before dropping the second game to Schuylerville by 26 pins – 1,136-1,110. The third game came down to the wire, as Gloversville edged Schuylerville 979-978.

Gloversville’s Derek Taylor led all bowlers with a 611 series, and he rolled the high game of the match with a 230. Adrian Dorman added a 550 series for the Huskies.

Four Gloversville bowlers record 600+ series in Foothills Council victory over Broadalbin-Perth

Four Gloversville bowlers knocked down more than 600 pins apiece in their three games to lead the Huskies to a 3,778-3,357 victory over Broadalbin-Perth Wednesday, Dec. 19, in a Foothills Council match.

Derek Taylor led Gloversville with a 704 series, as he averaged nearly 235 pins per game. Aiden Carter had the high game for the Huskies with a score of 258 and finished with a 685 series. Adrian Dorman (639) and Adam Loveless (608) also had strong performances for Gloversville.

Mike Piska had a 279 game and a 747 series for Broadalbin-Perth.

Foothills Council bowling: Gloversville rolls along with convincing victory over Hudson Falls

The Gloversville bowling team improved its match record to 30-6 with a 3,391-3,058 victory over Foothills Council rival Hudson Falls Thursday, Dec. 13.

Riley Griffiths rolled a 237 game and a 221 game during his 655 series to lead Gloversville. Adam Loveless contributed a 638 series, which included high game honors for the match with a pinfall of 240 in his final game.

Logan Bennett paced Hudson Falls with a 664 series, which included individual game scores of 253 and 221.

Foothills Council bowling: Gloversville eases past Johnstown

Three Gloversville bowlers rolled 600+ series to defeat neighboring Foothills Council rival Johnstown 3,586-3,019 Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Aiden Carter had the high series (644) and the high game (258) for Gloversville. Adam Loveless rolled a 631 series with a 225 high game, and Derek Taylor added a 625 series with a 248 high game. Adrian Dorman rolled a 257 game for Gloversville.

Mick Winton led Johnstown with a 617 series, which included high games of 220 and 227. Noah Barner contributed a 539 series, and Steven Hulbert added a 538 series for the Sir Bills.
