The state’s top-ranked Class A public school boys lacrosse team received the top seed for the Section 2 playoffs Friday, May 17.

In its biggest challenge of the Suburban Council season, the Niskayuna boys lacrosse team scored four times in the fourth quarter to defeat Shaker 8-4 Saturday, May 4.

Shaker limited Columbia to eight shots on goal on its way to posting an 8-1 victory Thursday, April 11, in a Suburban Council boys lacrosse game.
Sean McLean and Zach Mein each notched a pair of goals for the Blue Bison, who took control of the game with a five-goal second quarter. Logan Souza contributed a goal and two assists, and goalie Ryan Mazzariello stopped seven shots.

Ballston Spa played well at both ends of the field to defeat Shaker 10-1 Tuesday, April 9, in a Suburban Council boys lacrosse game at Schuylerville High School.
Seven players recorded goals for the Scotties, and goaltender Gregg Dort nearly posted a shutout, stopping seven of the eight shots he faced. Lucas Bennice, Ethan Thomas and Demetri Yerou all scored a pair of goals to lead Ballston Spa’s balanced attack.
