Maple Hill used a 16-3 run in the third quarter to pull away for a 58-36 victory over Catskill Tuesday, Jan. 15, in a Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Lydia Chittenden and Natasha Strock each scored 14 points for the Wildcats, who led 28-24 at halftime. Lauryn Smith contributed 10 points in the victory.

Patroon Conference girls basketball: Maple Hill cruises past Chatham

Maple Hill jumped out to a 20-5 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 55-41 victory over Chatham in a Patroon Conference girls basketball game Friday, Jan. 11.

Stacia Coyne netted 14 points, and Lauryn Smith contributed 12 points for the Wildcats, who remained undefeated in league play. Naveah Daigle had nine points for Chatham.

Second-place Hudson kept pace with Maple Hill by defeating Cairo-Durham 61-49. Deja Beauford and Jenaya Robinson each scored 20 points for the Blue Hawks, who pulled away by outscoring Cairo-Durham 21-12 in the fourth quarter.

Patroon Conference girls basketball: Maple Hill handles Hudson

Maple Hill remained undefeated in the Patroon Conference with a 53-37 victory over Hudson Wednesday, Jan. 9, in a girls basketball game.

Jenna Hoffman led a balanced attack with 10 points for Maple Hill (10-0 league, 11-1 overall), which took command by outscoring Hudson 28-14 over the course of the second and third quarters. Lydia Chittenden and Abby Utter each contributed eight points.

Patroon Conference girls basketball: Chatham rallies past Catskill; Maple Hill rolls past Albany Leadership

Chatham outscored Catskill 17-9 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 41-33 victory over the Cats Tuesday, Dec. 18, in a Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Naveah Daigle netted 14 points, while Hailey Cascioli and Hannah Taylor each added eight points for Chatham. Ashley Shook led Catskill with 14 points, including four three-pointers.

Patroon Conference girls basketball: Maple Hill shuts down Greenville; Taconic Hills wins in OT

Maple Hill’s defense limited Greenville to less than seven points in each quarter as the Wildcats pulled away for a 40-15 victory over the Spartans Wednesday, Dec. 12, in a Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Maple Hill had a difficult time pulling away from Greenville in the first half, but the Wildcats broke the game open with a 16-6 run in the third quarter that gave them a 28-13 lead.

Natasha Strock had seven points, eight rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots to lead a balanced attack for Maple Hill, which remained undefeated after five league games. Paige Bleau and Lydia Chittenden each contributed six points.

Maple Hill built a 20-1 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 44-15 victory over Catskill Tuesday, Dec. 4, in a Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Lydia Chittenden had 13 points to lead a balanced Maple Hill offense, while Natasha Strock pulled down 10 rebounds. Paige Bleau and Abby Utter each added six points for the Wildcats.

No player scored more than three points for Catskill.
