Catskill shuts out New Lebanon to win NL Boys Soccer Tournament title
NEW LEBANON – Khimani Rhoden and Jaheim DaCosta scored goals to lead Catskill to a 2-0 victory over New Lebanon in the finals of the New Lebanon Boys Soccer Tournament Saturday, Sept. 8.
Rhoden headed in Addison Allen’s corner kick in the first half to give the Cats a 1-0 lead. DaCosta tallied off a scrum in the penalty box in the second half.
Catskill goalkeeper Andrew Tran made several saves, including turning aside a shot by Cole Keating. Liam McDonald stopped several shots for New Lebanon.
Taconic Hills defeated Berlin 4-0 in the consolation game.
