Last year’s record: 7-2

Playoff result: lost to Saratoga Springs in Class AA semifinal

Returning starters: Connor McHugh (quarterback), Ray Burt (running back/strong safety), Joe Toutai (running back), Calvin Fluegge (running back), Wil Pepe (tight end), Shane Lavender (free safety), John Stewart (linebacker), Ian Shelmerdine (defensive end)

Newcomers: Nate Ratigan (linebacker), Jake Notarino (linebacker), Jovani Wiggs (running back/defensive back), Riese Ninstant (wide receiver/running back), Andrew Morrison (offensive line)

Outlook for season: After losing to Saratoga in the Sectional semifinals last year, the Blue Bison are looking to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2016.

“If our offensive line comes together and we fight the injury bug that plagued us last season,” we will do well, said Sheeler.
