Adirondack League girls volleyball: Lake George outlasts Argyle in five-game thriller

Two of the top Adirondack League girls volleyball teams met Friday, Oct. 12, in Lake George. The match lived up to its billing, as Lake George edged Argyle 3-2.

The Warriors took the first game 25-10, but the Scots responded by winning the next two games 25-19 and 27-25. Facing the possibility of its first league loss, Lake George won the last two games 25-17 and 25-15.

Mikayla Duffy had 19 service points and 14 kills to lead Lake George to victory. Jazzy Burke contributed 12 service points and 25 assists, while Alysia Kane recorded 12 service points, two solo blocks and five assisted blocks. Adrianna Eigo led the defensive effort with 30 digs, and Elaina Bieber added 11 service points.
