Outlook for season: Despite losing five key players to graduation, including a first team Patroon Conference All-Star goalkeeper (Shadic), and another to a transfer, McDonald said he believes Taconic Hills is ready for a strong 2018 season.

[The] team has good varsity experience at important positions,” said McDonald. “Our team speed is going to be hard to keep pace with. Our possession and movement off the ball have improved dramatically.”

Ultimately, Taconic Hills wants to be a contender for the Patroon Conference title.

They really want to win games while representing Taconic Hills with pride and respect,” said McDonald. “If we continue to practice hard and hold solid possession with a means of going forward and finishing, we will have success.”
