Tamarac jumped out to a 46-15 halftime lead and cruised to a 91-32 victory over Berlin in a Wasaren League boys basketball game Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Anthony Ciampolillo led the Bengals with 23 points, while Bo Catherwood contributed 19 points. Dan Honsinger added 10 points for Tamarac.
Kasey Billert paced Berlin with a 10-point effort. Malachi Ritter chipped in with eight points.
Elsewhere in the Wasaren League, Stillwater built a 23-9 halftime advantage and pulled away for a 50-29 victory over Hoosic Valley. Three Warriors reached double digits, led by Grant Baker’s 14 points. James Galarneau contributed 12 points, and Cooper Monast added 11 points.
Isaac Carlo made two three-pointers and finished with 14 points for Hoosic Valley.
Hoosick Falls scored the first 12 points of the game, and it never looked back in posting a 65-34 victory over Saratoga Central Catholic. Jon Kempf led the way with 21 points, and Tristan Williams added 20 points for the Panthers.
Tim Barrett and Jordan Catone each scored eight points for Spa Catholic.
Greenwich used a 20-8 run in the second quarter to take control on the way to a 66-33 victory over Cambridge. John Walsh had 24 points, and Carson Mosher contributed 13 points for the Witches.
Ben Epler netted eight points for Cambridge, while three more players – Jeffrey Burke, Brian Hall and Matthew Romack – all added six points apiece.
